Spring can often be a time when we experience an increase in symptoms.🌸

Updated: Sep 1, 2023

Skills you can use to manage them:

  • Breathing Exercises

    • Square breathing (Ex: Breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 4, exhale for 4)

  • Mindfulness:

    • Walking: Shift your focus to the way the ground feels beneath you.

    • Observe and Describe: what you see/hear around you: a red house, pink flowers, birds singing.

    • Eating: Notice the smells, textures, tastes such as sweet/sour.

  • Movement: run, bike, yoga, swim

  • Connection: reach out to family/friends, join a group exercise class or community art class.

It doesn't have to take up a lot of your time. You'll feel the benefits with even 5-10 mins a day. I believe in you! 🪷
