Many women reach a point where they feel overwhelmed, anxious, or no longer like themselves. From the outside, life may look "fine", but internally there can be constant overthinking, irritability, or a sense of being stuck. At Next Chapter Psychotherapy, I specialize in helping women better understand what they're experiencing and find a path back to feeling grounded, clear, and more like themselves again.

The What's & Why's

I provide therapy for women in Minneapolis and across Minnesota who are navigating anxiety, high-functioning stress, perimenopause, and major life transitions. These experiences often overlap. You might notice your anxiety has increased, your patience feels thinner, or you're questioning your identity, your relationships, or what you want in this next phase of life. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of these changes, and develop tools that actually help.

Hormonal changes can have significant impact on mood, anxiety, sleep, and overall emotional stability. Many women are surprised by how intense these shifts can feel. You may feel uncertain how to cope with these changes. Therapy can help you to understand what's happening in your body and mind while giving you effective tools to manage symptoms and regain a sense of balance.

Life transitions - whether expected or unexpected - can also bring a wave of uncertainty and stress. Changes in relationships, career shifts, caring for aging parents, parenting transitions, or simply realizing that something in your life no longer fits can leave you feeling stuck or unsure of what comes next. Therapy provides a supportive place to explore these questions, clarify your values, and move forward with greater confidence and direction.

If your searching for a therapist in Minneapolis or within Minnesota and are ready to feel more grounded, clear, and like yourself again, I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. Reaching out is a meaningful next step.

I am also a Clinical Supervisor approved by the Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Therapy offering clinical supervision on a variety of clinical issues to Master's level graduates pursuing LMFT and LPCC licensure.

If interested in pursuing clinical supervision with me please call, text or email
